Suffolk Carbon Reduction Loan Scheme

An Interest Free Loan to assist Suffolk businesses with the initial costs of carbon reduction.

1. Who can Apply?

The loans are available to any business with fewer than 250 employees, so long as you meet the Financial Criteria (i.e. demonstrate the financial capacity to repay the loan).

2. What can loans be spent on?

The only restriction is that funding must go on work within Suffolk that delivers demonstrable carbon savings. Loans will be paid directly to the installer/ supplier (i.e. the applicant will not receive any finance directly), and then repaid by the applicant.

Approved Installers

Loans used to fund any proportion of installation for renewable energy should be installed by an approved installer.

Products and installers not on these lists may still be eligible for a loan, but they will need separate approval. Selecting from outside these lists may delay the loan’s approval. Note that some criteria are flexible, so if you have questions about your eligibility, it may be worth raising these specifically
