Woodbridge is a bustling market town which enjoys scenic views of the River Deben. The natural landscape is very much part of the appeal of the town for both residents and visitors; the river with its many leisure boats creates an industry in its own right.
Woodbridge has an array of restaurants, cafés and shops catering for every taste and budget. Larger stores sit alongside small, independent shops which thrive on a busy thoroughfare. There are two markets supplying local, fresh produce every week.
The town is full of history, one highlight being the Tide Mill, a living museum which tells the story of the mill and where the water wheel still turns regularly. The flour produced by the mill is used by the local bakery!
A number of businesses are located on the outskirts of the town or in the rural surroundings taking advantage of the combination of space and easy access to the A12, the main route to London.
